APPSC has released the preliminary notification (APPSC DL Notification) on December 30 for the filling of 240 Lecturer posts in the Govt. degree colleges of the state. The online application process will start from January 24 to fill these posts. Eligible candidates can apply from January 24 to February 13. Selection will be based on written test and computer proficiency.

Age, Pay and Educational Details
The breakup of vacancies, scale of pay, age, community, educational qualifications and other information with instructions will be available on the Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in before 24/01/2024.
The candidate should possess the prescribed academic qualification as on the date of this notification i.e., 30/12/2023
Selection Process
The selection to the post shall be on the basis of Written Examination (Objective Type) in Computer Based Recruitment Test mode to be conducted by the Commission, Computer Proficiency Test, Certificate Verification.
Exam Pattern
A written exam will be conducted for a total of 450 marks. There will be total two papers (Paper-1, Paper-2) in the written exam. It consists of Paper-1: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Questions – 150 Marks – 150 Minutes; Paper-2 Candidate Subject – 150 Questions – 300 Marks – Duration 150 Minutes. In paper-1, one mark is given for each question. In paper-2, two marks are allotted for each question. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Computer Proficiency Test will be conducted for total 100 marks. Questions related to office automation, computer usage, computer software will be asked. Exam time is 60 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks have been fixed as 40 for OCs, 35 for BCs and 30 for SC-ST-PWDs.
