Indian Navy Agniveer Notification:Â The Indian Navy has released a notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (Senior Secondary Recruitment-SSR) vacancies in the Indian Navy. The selected candidates will be trained at INS Chilka (02/2024-November batch).

Eligibility
Eligibility for Navy Agniveer SSR is as below
Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Passed Three years diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
Passed Two years Vocational Course with Non-vocational course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
Age limit
Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2003–30 Apr 2007 (Both dates inclusive) for Navy Agniveer SSR
Application Fee
An examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred)
Selection Process
Selection process of Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2024 batch will include two stages
Stage I – Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET)
Stage II – PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination
Written Test
Stage-I – Paper consists of totally 100 marks with subjects of Mathematics, English, Science and General awareness.
Stage-II – Written examination & Recruitment Medical Examination.
Physical Events
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection.

Training details
Candidates selected as firemen will start training at INS Chilka, Odisha in the month of November. Those who successfully complete the training are appointed in various departments.
Salary
Selected candidates will be paid Rs.30,000 in the first year, Rs.33,000 in the second year, Rs.36,500 in the third year and Rs.40,000 in the fourth year. Other allowances are additional.
