UBI Specialist Officers: Union Bank of India has issued a notification for filling up the posts of Specialist Officers. A total of 606 vacancies will be filled through this. Qualifications and experience are decided post wise. Eligible candidates can apply from 3rd to 23rd February. B.Sc/BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/MSc/CA/CMA/ICWA/CS/CFA Certificate/MBA in relevant disciplines as per the posts.
Union Bank of India SOs Age Limit
Chief Manager(IT) post should be between 30-45 years.
Senior Manager (IT) posts should be between 28-38 years
Senior Manager (Risk/CA) should be between 25-35 years.
Manager (IT/Credit/ITO/TVO) posts should be between 25 – 35 years.
Manager (Risk/Law) should be between 25 – 32 years.
For Assistant Manager (Electrical Engineer/Civil Engineer/Architect/Technical/Forex) posts should be between 20 – 30 years.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, 3 years for OBCs, 10 years for disabled, 5 years for ex-servicemen candidates, 5 years for family members of 1984 riots is applicable.
UBI Specialist Officers: Application Fee
Rs.850. SC, ST, PWD will pay Rs.175.
UBI SOs: Test Procedure
Written test will be conducted for total 200 marks. There will be total 100 questions in the exam. Questions will be asked from the professional knowledge of the candidates. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
However, for filling up the posts of Assistant Manager, a written exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. There will be total 150 questions in the exam. It consists of Quantitative Aptitude-25 Questions-25 Marks, Reasoning-50 Questions-50 Marks, 50 Questions from Candidates Professional Knowledge-100 Marks, English Language-25 Questions-25 Marks. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
There is negative marking system in the exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Group Discussion
Group Discussion will be conducted for total 50 marks. In this the qualifying marks have been fixed as 25 for General and EWS candidates. And for SC, ST, OBC and disabled people it was decided as 22.5.
Personal Interview
Candidates who qualify the written test will be conducted a personal interview at the next stage. Interview of total 50 marks will be conducted. The qualifying marks in the interview are fixed at 25 for General and EWS candidates. And for SC, ST, OBC and disabled people it was decided as 22.5. Interview will be conducted only for the candidates who have secured the prescribed qualifying marks. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:3.

Salary allowances
Chief Manager posts will be Rs.76,010-Rs.89,890.
Senior Manager posts will be Rs.63840-Rs.78,230.
For manager posts it ranges from Rs.48,170-Rs.69,810.
Assistant Manager posts will be Rs.36,000-Rs.63,840.
