Graduate Engineer Trainee jobs Through GATE Score In Hindustan Copper Limited(HCL): HCL in Kolkata has released a job notification for the recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) vacancies in various departments. A total of 40 posts will be filled through this. Candidates with minimum 60% marks, SC,ST candidates with 55% marks are eligible to apply with Bachelor degree, Post Graduation pass in respective discipline and GATE-2021/ GATE-2022/ GATE-2023 score. Eligible candidates can apply from January 29 to February 19.

Essential Qualification
Essential Qualification for the post of Graduate Engineering Trainee in different cadres / disciplines is as under.
Age Limit
Not exceeding 28 years as on 01.01.2024. As per norms SC/ST 5 years, OBC(NCL)- 3 years, PWD(General/EWS)- 10 years, PWD(OBC(NCL))- 13 years, PWD(SC/ST)- 15 years, X- for servicemen Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt guidelines.
Application Fee
The General, OBC & EWS Candidates are required to pay non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.500/- (Five Hundred Only) and all other candidates are exempted from paying fees including PwBDs.
Selection Process
The selection process to the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee will be a two-step process with the weightage assigned to each step is as under.
Steps Weightage in %
- GATE Score / Marks 70%
- Personal Interview 30%
Basic pay
Basic pay of Rs.40,000/- irrespective of their previous experience or last drawn basic pay in previous organization
