SSC Sub-Inspector Exam 2024: It is known that the Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for filling the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF- (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB) departments on March 4. The application process for this has started on March 5. Candidates with any degree qualification are eligible for these jobs. Candidates who have proper qualifications have to submit applications till March 28. Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.100. But SC, ST, Women, Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment. Candidates can apply on May 9, 10, 13. Computer based written test will be conducted and the selected candidates will be filled in the posts of Sub-Inspector in Central Armed Forces (CAPF) BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB along with Delhi Police.

Number of Vacancies: 4,187.
1) Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF – Central Armed Police Forces: 4,001 Posts
2) Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police Department- Male: 125 Posts
3) Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police Department- Women: 61 Posts
Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2024)
Must have passed Bachelor Degree from any recognized University. Must meet certain physical standards.
Age Limit for SSC Sub-Inspector Exam 2024
Should be between 20-25 years as on 01.08.2024.
- SC/ ST : 5 years
- OBC : 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen : 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
Pay Scale
Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400 will be given per month. Other allowances are extra.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on CBT written test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, Medical Examination etc.

Examination Fee
