RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Railway Department has heard good news for the unemployed youth of the country. Vacancies have been started in 21 railway regions across the country. To this end, the Railway Recruitment Board has released a brief job advertisement on February 17 for filling up a total of 9,000 technician posts in various departments. Through this, the vacancies in Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Jammu and Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, Thiruvananthapuram and Gorakhpur regions will be filled.
The full notification will be released from March 9 regarding the filling of technician posts. The notification will be made available on the websites of the respective railway regions. Eligible candidates have to submit their applications online from 9th March to 8th April. Selection of jobs will be done on the basis of written, medical examination etc. Region wise vacancies, educational qualification, written exam, syllabus etc. complete details will be released soon.

RRB Technician: Age Limit
18-36 years for Technician Grade-I Signal posts as on 01.07.2024; Technician Grade-III posts should be between 18-33 years.
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs.500 as application fee. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Transgender, Minority, EBC candidates need to pay Rs.250.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of CBT-1, CBT-2, Computer Based Aptitude Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination.
Pay Scale
Rs.29,200 per month for Technician Grade-I Signal posts. 19,900 for Technician Grade-III posts.
