RRB Assistant Loco Pilot

RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2024 Notification: Department of Railways has released a notification for filling up the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot in all the railway regions across the country. 5,696 posts will be filled through this notification. Among these, there are 758 Assistant Loco Pilot posts in Secunderabad zone in relation to Telugu states. This includes 199 posts under East Coast Railway and 559 posts under South Central Railway. The online application process will start from January 20 for filling up these posts. Applications will be accepted through online mode till February 19, 2024.

Those who have completed ITI in relevant trade along with matriculation are eligible for these Assistant Loco Pilot posts. Three year Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile Engineering) qualification can also apply. Selection will be based on two stage computer based test (Stage-1, Stage-2), computer based aptitude test, document verification and medical examination. Those selected for the jobs will be paid a pay scale of Rs.19,900- Rs.63,200 per month.

Age Limit

Should be between 18-30 years as on 01.07.2024.

Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per Central Government Rules. 5 years for SC, ST; 3 years for OBCs; 3-6-8 years for ex-servicemen candidates; 40-43-45 years for those working in Group-C, Group-D section of Railways; 35-38-40 years for widows and single women; Age relaxation of 35-38-40 years is applicable for those who completed apprenticeship under 25 years.

Educational Qualification

Application Fee

For General Rs.500/-

SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Transgender, Minority, EBC candidates have to pay Rs.250.
