Polytechnic Lecturers: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a notification on December 21 for filling up 99 Lecturer posts in AP Government Polytechnic Colleges. There are lecturer posts in both engineering and non-engineering departments. Educational qualifications are decided post wise. Eligible candidates should apply online from January 29 to February 18.

Education Qualifications
Polytechnic Lecturers: Age Limit
Should be between 18-42 years as on 01.07.2023.
5 years for BCs; 10 years for SC, ST, Divyang; Age relaxation is applicable up to 3 years for ex-servicemen candidates, 5 years for state government employees and 3 years for temporary employees.

Polytechnic Lecturers: Salary
Scale of pay of Rs. 56,100/- – 98,400/- (AICTE 2016 Pay Scales)
Polytechnic Lecturers Recruitment: Application Fee
Candidates have to pay application processing fee of Rs.250 and examination fee of Rs.120.
Exemption from examination fee of Rs.120 is applicable for SC, ST, BC, Handicapped, Ex-servicemen candidates.
Selection Process
The selection to the post shall be on the basis of Written Examination in Computer Based Recruitment Test mode to be conducted by the Commission.
Exam Procedure
Written test will be conducted for total 450 marks. There will be two papers in the exam. It will consist of Paper-1 General Studies & Mental Ability (Degree Level) 150 Questions-150 Marks-150 Minutes, Paper-2 will consist of 150 Questions-300 Marks-150 Minutes from the subject related to the candidates. In paper-1 one question is allotted one mark and in paper-2 one question is allotted 2 marks. Negative marking is in force in the examination. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
