Civil Judge in APSJS: AP State High Court at Amaravati has released a notification for filling up the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in AP State Judicial Service. A total of 39 vacancies will be filled through this. These posts are filled on direct recruitment and transfer basis. Law degree holders are eligible to apply. Candidates have to submit applications through online mode. The online application process for filling these posts will start from January 31. Candidates can apply till March 1. The hall tickets for the exam will be released on March 15. After that, the screening test will be conducted on April 13. The answer key and answer sheets of the candidates for the examination will be released on April 18.

Civil Judge in APSJS: Age Limit
Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.01.2025. Five years for SC, ST, BC, EWS; 10 years relaxation for disabled candidates.
Pay

Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of Screening Test (CBT), Written Test, Viva-Voice Test.
Exam Pattern
Screening Test (CBT) will be conducted for total 100 marks. The exam will have a total of 100 multiple choice questions. One mark is allotted for each question. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Candidates securing 40% or above marks in the screening test will be selected for the written test in the ratio of 1:10. The written exam will consist of three papers (Civil Law, Criminal Law, English Translation). Written examination will be conducted for 100 marks per paper and 300 marks for three papers. The English translation paper will carry translation for 25 marks and essay writing for 75 marks. In this you have to write essays from English to Telugu and from Telugu to English. The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination have been fixed as 60 per cent for OC and EWS candidates (minimum 55 per cent marks in each paper), 55 per cent for BCs (minimum 50 per cent marks in each paper) and 50 per cent for SC-ST candidates (minimum 45 per cent marks in each paper).

Viva-Voice
Viva-Voice: Viva-Voice Test will be conducted for total 50 marks. Candidates who do not appear in this test will not be considered for job selection. Candidates will be selected for Viva-Voice in the ratio of 1:3 from the candidates who qualify in the written test.
Application Fee
Rs.1500. SC, ST and disabled persons have to pay Rs.750.
