UPSC ESIC Nursing Officers: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Nursing Officers to work in Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) centers across the country. A total of 1930 Nursing Officer vacancies will be filled through this. BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing or Diploma (General Nursing Mid-Wifery) qualification are eligible to apply for these jobs. The application process for filling these posts started on March 7. Applications will be received till March 27. Candidates selected for the posts will have probation for two years. They should be ready to work anywhere in the country.

Qualifications

B.Sc Nursing (Hons) from any recognized University. B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. Diploma (General Nursing Mid-wifery). Must be a registered nurse or nurse midwife with the State Nursing Council. Minimum one year working experience in any 50 bedded hospital.

ESIC Nursing Officers Age Limit

Should be between 18-30 years as on 27.03.2024. 33 years for OBCs; 35 years for SC/STs; Not more than 40 years for disabled persons.

Application Fee

Rs.25. Women, SC, ST and Handicapped candidates are exempted from fee payment

ESIC Nursing Officers Selection Process

Based on written test, certificate verification, medical test etc., the test will be conducted on July 7 through pen and paper mode. It is an objective test. It will be in English medium. All the questions carry equal marks in this two-hour exam. 1/3 minus marks for each wrong answer.

Salary

Payable under Level-7 Pay Matrix.

Candidates need not to upload any document except photograph, signature and identity proof while filling up the on-line application.
Candidates are advised to fill their correct and active e-mail addresses in the online application as all correspondence will be made by the commission through e-mail only.
After submitting the Online Application, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.
