SSC Selection Posts
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification for filling up the selection posts in various central government departments. Through this, 2049 posts will be filled. Educational qualifications are decided post wise. The application process for these posts started on February 26. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online by March 18. Job selection is done on the basis of written test, skill test, etc.

Age Limit
Should be between 18-30 years following the post. Age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Eligibility
Should have passed Matriculation, Inter, Degree, Diploma following the post.
Application Fee
Rs.100. Women, SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Test/ Computer Test.
Exam Pattern
25 questions will be given from General Intelligence part of the exam. 50 marks will be allotted for that. General Awareness-25 Questions-50 Marks, Quantitative Aptitude-25 Questions-50 Marks, English-25 Questions-50 Marks. There will be negative marks in the exam. 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Duration of Exam: 60 minutes

Candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay fee for each category of post.
