IB ACIO Recruitment: The Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi has released a notification for filling the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II Technical Officers across the country. Those who have engineering degree or MSc degree qualification are eligible for these jobs. The online application process for filling up these posts started on December 23 and last date is January 12 2024.

IB ACIO: Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have achieved qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2021 or 2022 or 2023 in Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS) along with:
I. B.E or B.Tech in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Tele-communication or
Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or
Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering;
from a Government recognized University/College/Institute. Or
II. Master’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics &
Communication or Computer Science; or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications;
from a Government recognized University / College / Institute.
IB ACIO: Age Limit
18-27 years as on 12.01.2024 i.e., closing date of receipt of application
(RESERVATIONS & RELAXATIONS):
a) Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & by 3 years for OBC.
b) Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates’ upto 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.
c) The age limit is relaxable up to age of 35 years for general candidates and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried

Application Fee
Rs. 200 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates.
Rs.100 is for SC, ST and disabled candidates.
Salary
Pay between Rs.44,900 – Rs.1,42,400 per month
Selection Of Candidates
a) Candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) shortlisted on the basis of GATE score card will appear directly for the Interview at Delhi.
b) Candidate has the option to provide his/her best GATE score from amongst GATE 2021 or 2022 or 2023.
c) The date & time of Interview would be intimated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail given by them in online application.
d) Based on the combined score of GATE & Interview, the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection subject to their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination, etc.
