Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) has released the written exam hall tickets for the recruitment of AE (Assistant Engineer), Chemist (Chemist) jobs. The hall tickets are made available on the official website. Candidates who have applied can download the hall tickets by entering the application/mobile number and date of birth details. According to the announced schedule, the recruitment test will be conducted on December 17 at centers in Hyderabad and Secunderabad through OMR sheet/offline method.
It is known that Telangana Genco has released a notification for filling up 339 Assistant Engineer and 60 Chemist posts on October 5. Applications were received from the candidates from October 7 to November 10. On 14th and 15th of November, an opportunity was given to modify the applications. The exam will be conducted on December 17. These posts will be filled for the needs of existing old power stations along with maintenance of newly constructed Yadadri and Bhadradri power stations in the state. Those selected for the jobs will be given a monthly salary of Rs.65,600 – Rs.1,31,220.

TS GENCO 2023: About the Exam
Written test will be conducted for total 100 marks. 100 questions will be asked from two sections in the exam. Each question has one mark. In ‘Section-A’ 80 questions from candidate’s subject (Core Technical)-80 marks, in ‘Section-B’ 20 questions from English, General Awareness, Analytical & Numerical Ability, Telangana History, Culture, Telangana Origin, Development, Computer Knowledge There will be 20 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).

- Number of Vacancies: 339 (Limited-94, General-245)
- Department wise vacancies: Electrical-187, Mechanical-77, Electronics-25, Civil-50.
- Eligibility: Must have passed Engineering Degree in relevant discipline.
- Age Limit: Should be between 18-44 years as on 01.07.2023. Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per rules. Age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for BC, EWS, SC, ST candidates and 10 years for disabled.

- Number of Vacancies: 60 (Limited-03, General-57)
- Eligibility: Must have passed M.Sc (Chemistry/Environmental Sciences) in first class.
- Age Limit: Should be between 18-44 years as on 01.07.2023. Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per rules. Age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for BC, EWS, SC, ST candidates and 10 years for disabled.
