NALCO GETs: National Aluminum Company Limited (NALCO), Bhubaneswar has released a notification for the recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees posts. Through this, 277 posts will be filled. Job selection will be done on the basis of GATE-2023 marks. Candidates who have completed graduation in engineering or technology disciplines are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply from March 4 to April 2. Candidates who get jobs will have to submit a bond that they have served for four years.

Reservations: General-116, EWS-27, OBC-72, ST-18, SC-44.
Bachelor Degree (Engineering/Technology) with 65% marks. And for the posts in the Chemistry Department, Master’s Degree is required. 55 percent marks is enough for SC, ST and disabled.

Age Limit
Upper Age limit is 30 years as on 02/04/2024. 5 years for SC and ST candidates; 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates and 10 years relaxation for PwDs is applicable
Application Fee
The General, OBC & EWS Candidates are required to pay Rs.500/- (Five hundred) towards Application Fee and all other candidates including departmental candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- (Hundred) as processing fee only
Selection Process
NALCO will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering- 2023 marks (GATE-2023 marks) for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in the above disciplines. In order to apply in any of the above disciplines, the candidate should have qualified GATE 2023 examination. Only GATE-2023 mark is valid for this recruitment process. Based on the GATE-2023 marks and organizational requirement, candidates will be short listed for the personal interview.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 3% – 140000/- during one year of training with starting basic pay of Rs 40,000/- . Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Assistant Manager at E1 grade in the pay scale of Rs. 60000-3%-180000/- with one additional increment.
