TSPSC Group 1 2024: A notification has been released for the recruitment of Group 1 posts in Telangana. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released a notification on February 19 for filling up a total of 563 posts. Degree qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Group I Jobs. However, those who applied during the Group1 Notification (Notification No. 04/2022 Dt. 26/04/2022) released by TSPSC in the past need not apply again. There is no need to pay any fee also for them.
Applications will be accepted through online mode from February 23rd to March 14th from suitably qualified candidates. Candidates have to pay Rs.320 as application fee. In this, you have to pay Rs.200 as application process fee and Rs.120 as exam fee. The unemployed are exempted from the examination fee and the government employees shall pay the prescribed examination fee. The prelims (objective) exam will be conducted in the months of May/June and the main (conventional) exam in the months of September/October. Hall tickets will be available from a week before the exams. The hall tickets will be available up to 4 hours before the exam time.
It is known that the government has recently extended the age limit for government jobs by 2 years. With this the maximum age limit has increased from 44 years to 46 years. But relaxations in age limit will be applied as per rules. Age relaxation is 5 years for State Government employees, 3 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates, 3 years for NCC candidates, 5 years for SC-ST-BC-EWS candidates and 10 years for PwDs.

TSPSC Group 1 2024: Exam Pattern
Prelims exam (General Studies & Mental Ability) for total 150 marks, Mains (6 papers) for 900 marks will be conducted. Each paper carries 150 marks. And in the main exam, General English qualifying exam will be conducted for 150 marks.
