APTET 2024 Application process started

AP TET 2024 Online Application: It is known that AP TET-2024 notification has been released on February 7 to fill up the posts of teachers in AP. The TET application process started on February 8. Eligible candidates can apply till February 18. February 17 is fixed for payment of fees. Candidates have been given an opportunity to write the mock test on February 19. Candidates who have applied for the TET exam can download the hall tickets from February 23.

As per the announced schedule, TET exams will be conducted from February 27 to March 9 in computer based mode. TET exams are conducted in two sessions every day on those days. The exams will be conducted in the first session from 9.30 am to 12 pm and in the second session from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The Tet preliminary ‘key’ will be released on March 10. Objections on answer key will be received till March 11. After that, Tet will release the final answer key on March 13. Tet final results will be released on March 14. 20 percent weightage is given to TET marks in DSC.

TET Qualifications

Those who have completed two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DELED) and four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BELED) are eligible for the TET-1 paper, which is conducted for secondary grade teachers who teach classes from 1st to 5th. Final year students of the course are also eligible to apply.

Candidates appearing for Paper-1 must have secured 50 percent marks in Intermediate.

So far there is a provision that 50 percent marks in the degree is mandatory for SC, ST, BC, Divyangs to write TET Paper-2A. It was revised and reduced the marks to 40 percent. These decisions will be implemented from this time.

In the past, BED candidates were qualified for SGT posts and an examination of 100 marks was conducted in combination of DSC and TET. Screening test was conducted in English for TGT. This time, the government thinks that TET and DSC should be conducted separately.
