Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme: Notification for admissions to the 56th course of ‘NCC Special Entry Scheme’ in Indian Army has been released. Applications are invited for admission to the Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers course starting in October 2024. Unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates with any degree and NCC qualification are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online. Online application process started on January 8. Applications can be submitted till February 6.

Age Limit
For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jul 2024 (born not earlier than 02 Jul 1999 and not later than 01 Jul 2005; both dates inclusive).
Stipend and Pay
Stipend: Rs.56,100 per month.
Posting as Lieutenant after completion of training. Other allowances are given as per the prescribed pay scales.

Administrative Officers: Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of educational qualifications and other qualifications. SSB interview will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. This process consists of two stages. There will be stage-1 and stage-2 exams. Candidates who fail in Stage-1 will not be selected for Stage-2, they can go back on the same day. Candidates selected in Stage-1 will have Stage-2 SSB interview. Finally there will be a medical test for the selected candidates.
