The Steel Authority of India Limited has released a special recruitment drive notification for the recruitment of Management Trainee posts in SAIL Steel plants/units and mines across the country. SC, ST, OBC candidates are only eligible to apply. OBC candidates have to pay Rs.700 as application fee. SC, ST, physically challenged and ESM candidates should pay Rs.200. Selection will be done on the basis of online written test, group discussion and interview. The online application process for filling these posts started on December 11 and the applications were accepted till December 31.

SAIL Special recruitment drive for SC, ST, OBC: Age and Qualification details
Eligibility: Must have passed Engineering Degree in relevant discipline with 65% marks. Must have certain physical standards.
Age Limit: 33 years for SC, ST and 31 years for OBC candidates as on 31.12.2023. 10 years for disabled and 45 years for departmental candidates.
Salary
Rs.60,000 – Rs.1,80,000 per month.
Application Fee
OBC candidates have to pay Rs.700. SC, ST, PwD, ESM candidates should pay Rs.200.
Selection Process
Based on Online Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview.
Exam Pattern
Online exam will be conducted for total 200 marks. There are two sections in the exam. It consists of Part-1 (Candidate Subject) 100 Marks – 40 Minutes, Part-2 (Aptitude Test) 100 Marks – 80 Minutes. As part of the aptitude test, questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Reasoning and General Awareness sections. Each section is allotted 25 marks.
