Air Force Common Admission Test i.e AFCAT 01-2024 notification for the recruitment of senior posts in Indian Air Force has been released. The vacancies of technical and non-technical sections of the Air Force are filled through this examination. Any degree eligible candidates are required to apply online. Candidates will be selected through written test, interview and physical test. Selected candidates are appointed as Commissioned Officers in the Air Force. The online application process for these posts will start on December 1. Candidates can submit applications till 30th December.

AFCAT 01-2024 Notification: Age
Flying Branch: Should be between 20 – 24 years. Candidates should have born between 02.01.2001 – 01.01.2005. Age relaxation up to 2 years is applicable for commercial pilot license holders through DGCA. That means age should be less than 26 years. Should have born between 02.01.1999 – 01.01.2005.
Ground Duty (Technical/Non Technical): Should be between 20-26 years. Should have born between 02.01.1999 – 01.01.2005.

Application Fee
Rs.550. There is no fee for NCC Special Entry candidates. Fees can be paid through debit/ credit card, net banking, challan.

Exam Pattern
A written exam will be conducted for a total of 300 marks. There will be 100 questions. The exam will have questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning & Military Aptitude Test. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Pay Scale
Pay Scale: A stipend of Rs.56,100 per month will be paid during training. 1,77,500 will be paid with the rank of Flying Officer after training. DA, HRA and other allowances. 15,500 is paid every month as part of military service pay.
